Meditations
Meditation is listening, it is going within ones spirit. It is a very calming personal experience. Maybe you feel like there is not enough time in the day. However meditating does not take a huge amount of time. Meditation can give you more time by bring things in focus and calming the mind. Meditation can help us understand ourselves, relieve negativity, build positive thoughts and find inner peace.
In this face paced, demanding word it is nice to find a reprise. Stress can take a huge toll on our mind and health. Taking just a few minutes a day can make a big difference.
Meditation is a part of any profound spiritual practice. It can help bring us closer to the divine.
There are many ways to mediate.
- You can read a passage from a book and then mediate on what that means to you, just sitting still and accepting any thoughts that come to you.
- You can use a object to mediate on, holding it in your hands while you sit and contemplate.
- Guided meditations on cd or tape.
- Using music for meditation.
- Walking a labyrith.
